Simon Clarke – PGA Professional and Golf Operations Manager
Simon has been a fully qualified Golf Professional for over 21 years, turning Professional in 2004 gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way. During Simon’s teaching career, he has taught many different levels of golfer, from club golfers, county players and fellow Professionals. Simon is Privileged to have worked alongside and with coaches to former European Tour players.
Simon has his very own unique style of teaching and has become an excellent short game coach. His method and style of teaching is to “deliver and teach the golf swing to the level and understanding of the player”.
By tailoring his tuition to your understanding, Simon will improve your skill and enhance your enjoyment of the game, whilst creating a genuine personal connection and interest in your golfing progress.
Chris Roberts - PGA Professional
Golf is huge passion and love of mine. I learnt the game as a junior at Wentworth Golf Club. I was able to learn the game from some great players and coaches at Wentworth. Later in life I was accepted on to the PGA foundation degree from the University of Birmingham and I became the PGA Trainee at Jumeirah Golf Estates home of the Race to Dubai in 2019. I returned to the UK in 2020 where I gained vital experience and knowledge at Silvermere Golf & Leisure. I am so happy and grateful now that I am PGA Professional at Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Club. My manner of coaching is very calm and simple and I take extra special attention in listening to what a player needs. I coach all areas of your game on the range and on the golf course. I look forward to helping you with your game and achieving your goals.
At Dale Hill we offer a full Club repair and regripping service, we stock a wide variety of grips from Golf Pride, Lamkin, Winn, Superstroke, Avon and Ping. We have the facility to order In any other brands or grips that you wish. We also offer a re-shafting and shaft swapping service, if you have a moment of red mist need a replacement shaft we are the team for the job. Shaft such as KBS, True temper, Callaway, Fujikura, Graffoloy are just a few names on a very long list that we can offer.

We offer a comprehensive custom fitting golf club service at Dale Hill run by our PGA Professionals, who use our Flightscope X2 launch monitor to analyse your data and look to improve your numbers. We have all the latest product available for fitting and PRICE MATCH the leading websites once your fitting is complete. Our indoor swing studio used Flightscope Mevo Technology enabling us to do custom fittings for the latest Ping, Callaway and Cobra equipment. This service is totally free of charge and allows you around 45 minutes to 1 hour on finding the right club for you.
