John Tolliday – Head PGA Professional and Director of Golf
John has been at Dale Hill for 20 years and has a wealth of experience in golf retail and coaching, retail and fitting. As Director of Golf he oversees the golf operations at Dale Hill. John is proud to be a Callaway Ambassador and believes Callaway provide some of the best equipment available in the market. John over the years has helped all levels of golfers from beginners to international players, he offers one to one lessons to individuals as well as group coaching sessions. Always keen to help and can teach in or outdoors. John along with Chris will be overseeing the junior coaching for the coming year, they offer group coaching on a Saturday and junior camps in the school holidays. Chris Roberts - PGA Professional
Golf is huge passion and love of mine. I learnt the game as a junior at Wentworth Golf Club. I was able to learn the game from some great players and coaches at Wentworth. Later in life I was accepted on to the PGA foundation degree from the University of Birmingham and I became the PGA Trainee at Jumeirah Golf Estates home of the Race to Dubai in 2019. I returned to the UK in 2020 where I gained vital experience and knowledge at Silvermere Golf & Leisure. I am so happy and grateful now that I am PGA Professional at Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Club. My manner of coaching is very calm and simple and I take extra special attention in listening to what a player needs. I coach all areas of your game on the range and on the golf course. I look forward to helping you with your game and achieving your goals.
At Dale Hill we offer a full Club repair and regripping service, we stock a wide variety of grips from Golf Pride, Lamkin, Winn, Superstroke, Avon and Ping. We have the facility to order In any other brands or grips that you wish. We also offer a re-shafting and shaft swapping service, if you have a moment of red mist need a replacement shaft we are the team for the job. Shaft such as KBS, True temper, Callaway, Fujikura, Graffoloy are just a few names on a very long list that we can offer.

We offer a comprehensive custom fitting golf club service at Dale Hill run by our PGA Professionals, who use our Flightscope X2 launch monitor to analyse your data and look to improve your numbers. We have all the latest product available for fitting and PRICE MATCH the leading websites once your fitting is complete. Our indoor swing studio used Flightscope Mevo Technology enabling us to do custom fittings for the latest Ping, Callaway and Cobra equipment. This service is totally free of charge and allows you around 45 minutes to 1 hour on finding the right club for you.
