Mark Wood, PGA Advanced Professional
Mark joined Dale hill as the Head PGA Advanced teaching professional in March 2002.
Over the years, Mark has gone out of his way to observe and learn from the best in order to create a holistic approach to the game and his teaching. He has spent a lot of time at PGA Coaching Seminars with the best coaches in the business such as Butch Harmon, David Leadbetter, Martin Hall, Dr Paul Hurrion, Nick Bradley. When Mark Played competitively, he personally worked for 5 years on his own game with Nick Bradley (coach to Justin Rose) where he saw first hand Nick’s coaching approach, this gave Mark the chance to quiz and learn from Nick in order to improve his own coaching.
Mark has over 17 years coaching experience and coaches every standard of golfer; he coaches complete beginners to European Tour and former Ryder Cup players.
Mark continues to have a thirst for knowledge and is always looking for ways to improve golfers of all levels to improve their games, amateur and Professional alike and this gives him great enjoyment and satisfaction.
Mark has written over 30 articles for golf publications – Golf Links, Play Better Golf, National Club Golfer and PGA Magazine.
