Dale Hill Pro Newsletter - 19th May 2010
Firstly congratulations to Mark Lyall who had the shot of his life on Saturday the 15th May, when he found himself jumping for joy on the 10th Par 3 on the Woosnam Course after the ball found the bottom of the cup for a hole in one.
Is it luck or just pure skill? Click here to watch this hole in one video.
Wednesday held the first mid week competition of the year on the Old Course. Phil White dominated the field by playing some great golf coming in 5 over par with 43 points, closely followed by Richard Eastman shooting 8 over par with 41 points. Andrew Jenner too had a good day by being the only player to get a two. This resulted in him collecting £39.00.
Sunday on the Old Course hosted the John Smith’s Memorial Trophy. The format is played as an individual stableford and was open to both men and women. Leading the filed was Andy Smith with an impressive 40 points, closely followed by Maureen Hope–Watts with a outstanding 39 points to take second place. A great day was had by all and thanks you to all who entered.

There’s one major drawback to playing a Titleist ball in season; so is everyone else! Identify your Titleist from all the others every time – and prevent a potential argument before it happens - by personalising your Pro V1 or NXT with your name, nickname or even your favourite motto.
Normally you would have to pay for the privilege of personalising your Titleist but, until the 8th June at least, this service will be offered for free to the readers of my newsletter. There are four balls and four different text colours to chose from, just click here to see all the details and then start personalising!
PS – What a great gift a dozen personalised Titleist's would make for Father’s Day!
Regards,
John
