Dale Hill Pro Newsletter - 11th February 2010
So I guess the question is, when will the weather turn and we can start playing golf in good conditions, I have worked in golf for 15 years now (you might be asking yourselves why is he not better at golf after all that time?) and cannot remember such poor time, November/December being so very wet, December/January covered in snow, and now wet and cold conditions. Let’s hope we can get through this weather quick.
With yet another disappointing week of weather gone and another one forecast ahead, the only good news is that I had Miguel Angel Jimenez (who won the last European tour event) in my dream team for the Captain’s Charity, and Stenson who made a big move on the last day meaning I am moving up the leaderboard from 22nd hopefully into the top 10. The downside to the dream team is that Craig topped the league after January, winning the first monthly prize. It’s a great event to get involved with, and it certainly made me more interested in the golf at the weekend. For anyone who is interested I heard that Craig is in 150th position for the month of February (that’s more like it).
Many of you will see that a new buggy fleet has arrived. Over the next few weeks you will see some new electronics introduced. This means we can allocate you a buggy (exact number) and this will be in space marked with the same number. All we ask is that when returning the buggy you do so to the correct numbered bay.
I want to make you aware of some offers and tuition offers available at Dale Hill:

On a sad note we have had two pairs of shoes go missing out of the changing rooms over the last few weeks. These shoes were not in a locker and seem to have been taken. I would encourage all you to use the lockers provided in the changing rooms to keep your belongings safe.
Regards,
John
